Learn From The Eagle?

The Eagle does not fight the snake on the ground.  It picks it up into the sky and changes the battle ground, and then it releases the snake into the sky.  The snake has no stamina, no power and no balance in the air. It is useless, weak and vulnerable unlike on the ground where it is powerful wise and deadly.  Take your fight into the spiritual realm by praying and when you are in the spiritual realm God takes over your battles.  Don't fight the enemy in his comfort zone, change the battle grounds like the Eagle and let God take charge through your earnest prayer..

Happy Sunday

It's Sunday

My friends It's Sunday again. The day given to us to appear before the Lord God of Hosts to worship and adore Him. To praise Him with hearty songs from our hearts and mouths and to wave our holy hands in thanksgiving to Him The Bible recommends that we do not neglect the gathering of the Saints together and so as many Saints gather in Churches across the World today, do not be left out. Do not be left out of the blessings that flow from His Altar Do not be left out of the Anointing that flows from the Holy Spirit as we ask in prayers Do not be left out of the effectual communal prayers that worketh great things in the lives of the believers Do not be left out of the sharing of bread and wine - the Communion with the Holy Trinity, for as long as we eat the bread and drink the wine in His Divine Presence so is He able to abide with us in our own mortal homes Today, of all things to do, let your appearance before the Lord be one of them if not the f...

Hymn For Today

When all Thy mercies O my God My rising soul surveys Transported with the view, I’m lost In wonder, love and praise Unnumbered comforts to my soul Thy tender care bestowed Before my infant heart conceived From Whom those comforts flowed When in the slippery paths of youth With heedless steps I ran Thine Arm unseen conveyed me safe And led me up to man Ten thousand thousand precious gifts My daily thanks employ And not the least a cheerful heart Which tastes those gifts with joy Through every period of my life Thy goodness I’ll pursue And after death in distant worlds The glorious theme renew Through all eternity to Thee A joyful song I’ll raise For O eternity’s too short To utter all Thy praise

Hymn For Today

Forth in Thy Name O Lord I go My daily labour to pursue Thee only Thee resolved to know In all I think or speak or do The task Thy Wisdom hath assigned O let me cheerfully fulfil In all my works Thy Presence find And prove Thy Good and Perfect Will Thee may I set at my right hand Whose Eyes my inmost substance see And labour on at Thy Command And offer my works to Thee Give me to bear Thy easy yoke And every moment watch and pray And still to things eternal look And hasten to Thy Glorious Day For Thee delightfully employ What’er Thy bounteous grace hath given And run my course with even joy And closely walk with Thee to heaven

Should You Read Or Study Your Bible?

I grew up hearing preachers talk all the time about studying your Bible.  It seemed that so many emphasized that you should not simply read the Bible like you would any other book. I felt guilty if I didn’t read my Bible.  Then I would also feel guilty when I read it thinking that I wasn’t reading it slowly enough. Or, that I wasn’t doing Greek and Hebrew word studies as I read.  All this talk about having to study the Bible (and not just read it) got me paranoid to think that whatever I did it would not be good enough. Are you paralyzed with your Bible reading?  Allow me to tell you that it is OK for you to read your Bible.  If you want to take 3 months and study one word in the Bible, you are welcome to do that.  If you want to read the entire Bible in a week, then that is fine too. I think we have been told for far too long that reading your Bible like you would read any other book means that you are not spendi...

The Birth Of Our Ministry

Our other side is showing up in this online platform - the Blog for - In His Image Ministry. We are all made of 3 parts - the Body, the Spirit and the Soul, while the body is destructible, our Spirits and Souls are indestructible. And to carter to the Spirit and the Soul, we surely need to have the food for the Spirit and the Soul which are solely dependent on the Word of God. In times past, way before men had foothold on earth, the Bible was written and when men were able to read and write, the Spirit of the Lord descended on men to put the Words together starting from Creation and so it was that the Bible was written by men under the unction of the Holy Spirit of God. The Story of Creation ended with the creation of mankind and the Scripture states that "and God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness ............." Gen. 1: 26 It continued "So God created man in His own Image, in the Image of God created  He him, male and f...
