As they journeyed and discussed, Jesus joined them, but they failed to recognize Him. Have you ever been so downcast that you failed to recognize the presence of God in your circumstances? God is always present with us in the midst of all the ups and downs of life. Sometimes it is through an inner presence, a sense of companionship deep within our soul that assures us we are not alone or through others who listen to and encourage us.
