Rather than use the gifts to emphasize oneness in the Church, many Christians use them to sow the seed of discord. One person thinks that their gift is better and greater than their neighbour's simply because they appear more flamboyant. We do this because we fail to realize that God is the Giver of these gifts; no one has all the gifts and God values all gifts equally and every believer has at least one gift with which to positively contribute to build the Body of Christ - the Church.
