On the 1st day of the new
week that is the 3rd day following His betrayal, trial, condemnation,
crucifixion, death and burial, Jesus the Christ rose from the dead, thus making
an indelible world history.
And over 2000 years now,
this story has made the rounds and no one has been able to controvert it.
It remains as true as the
Word of God Himself because it was prophesied that He Who would offer the
eternal and last sacrifice, shall be condemned by those He came to save, He
would be put to death but on the 3rd day He would rise again so that He could
be the Master and Lord of both the dead and the living.
In overcoming death and
rising again from the dead, Christ gave us - believers - the power to also
overcome death because even though we die, we shall rise again at the end of
the age when He shall come to take us to His Home on High where we shall be
with Him for ever.
Be not afraid therefore,
because Jesus conquered death and gave us victory
As we commemorate His
resurrection, let us always bear in mind that He did all that JUST FOR US.
He Who had no sin by
himself died a shameful death even the death on the Cross for the sake of those
who He came to save.
May His resurrection bring
us everlasting peace and joy
Christ is risen
He is risen indeed
Alleluia
He is risen indeed and His Resurrection gave us victory over death and now we are no more afraid to die because we know that at the last day, we shall be resurrected to reign with Christ for ever
