Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21
5th Sunday After Easter

Bible Reading:     John 16: 5 - 22
Topic:         It Is To Your Advantage

In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future.

The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come.

If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time.

The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone.

God knows the best for you.

Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit.

Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it.

Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable situation now, but God uses it to work out His purposes for your life. Never lose sight of God's interest in your life.

See every stage of your life experience as training for higher responsibility, trust and elevation.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those that are called according to His purpose" (Rom. 8: 28)

Prayer:

God help me to make Your Will my ultimate choice in life, Amen

Memory Verse:   John 16: 16

"A little while and ye shall not see me; and again a little while and ye shall see me; because I go to My Father"

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
