"The Devil is a liar" shouted his wife as she tried to turn on the car. "How is the Devil a liar? What has the Devil done this time?" He asked his wife as he sat on the passenger seat. She was to drive today. "Well, we've run out of fuel and we need to get to the Church event quickly. I am preaching today and the Devil is trying to frustrate me. Ashindwe. The Devil is a liar" she said then declared some Bible verses. He laughed and looked to the side. "What are you laughing at?" She asked him turning to face him. "Why are you making the Devil famous?" He asked her. She looked at him surprised. Giving him that shhhpiritual face. "Honey, the Devil is not to blame for the low fuel, we are. You forgot to go to the petrol station yesterday after the visit from your mom. You are giving the Devil too much credit. When things go wrong it is not always the Devil's fault. He is not th...

I decided to do a little study to find a bunch of verses about giving just to help me get my heart back to where it needed to be. These are 21 of the more popular giving Bible verses – feel free to add others to the comments… Deuteronomy 15:10 Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. Deuteronomy 16:17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you. 1 Chronicles 29:9 Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord with a whole heart, and King David also rejoiced greatly. Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Proverbs 11:24-25 There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due...

On the 1st day of the new week that is the 3rd day following His betrayal, trial, condemnation, crucifixion, death and burial, Jesus the Christ rose from the dead, thus making an indelible world history. And over 2000 years now, this story has made the rounds and no one has been able to controvert it. It remains as true as the Word of God Himself because it was prophesied that He Who would offer the eternal and last sacrifice, shall be condemned by those He came to save, He would be put to death but on the 3rd day He would rise again so that He could be the Master and Lord of both the dead and the living. In overcoming death and rising again from the dead, Christ gave us - believers - the power to also overcome death because even though we die, we shall rise again at the end of the age when He shall come to take us to His Home on High where we shall be with Him for ever. Be not afraid therefore, because Jesus conquered death and gave us victory As...

It's Sunday but this is not just like any of your regular Sundays, it is a special Sunday - the #PalmSunday.
