Daily Fountain 2017 - Never Give Up

Thursday January 12th Bible Reading:      Heb. 6: 1 - 12 Topic:          Never Give Up Hebrews 5: 11 - 14 clearly stated that we grow and mature spiritually as we enjoy the solid food of the Word of God. Therefore in today's passage, the writer insists that they should leave basic doctrines behind and move on to deeper issues of the Christian life. He desired for them to move on to maturity which would protect them from the dangers of apostasy. When we set our journey to an unknown destination, it is usually surrounded by fears, apprehension and uncertainties. If we embark on the same   journey with a guide, however we are more confident. This was the case with Abram (Heb. 11: 8 - 10; Gen. 12: 1 - 4) In this life, we are like a VOYAGER. Our journey can be broken into stages. The year 2017 is a segment of this our life's journey. The good news for us is this: in Jesus the revealed Messiah we have a sure Guide, a Guide that can never fail because in Him all things consist - the Past, the Present and the Future (Jn. 1: 3; Col. 1: 16 - 18). He is our Great High Priest Who has passed through all, hence we can journey on wit...
