In His Image Ministries

Holy Father, the Ancient of Days, we thank You for Your great mercies and tender kindness towards us and which have manifested in our being alive today. We bless Your Name because there is none like You, and there's none that can be compared with You in all the things that You have done us, doing for us and yet to do for us. We thank You for our families and friends that You have also brought back to life along with us. May Your Holy Name be forever praised in Jesus Name, Amen. Father we will not fail to confess our sins before You, our sins of omission and commission which we from time to time commit out of ignorance and selfishness. We ask for Your pardon and forgiveness Oh Lord, cleanse us from all forms of unrighteousness and help us to live more nearly as we pray. As we prepare to go to Your Holy Sanctuary to commune with You, Father guide our hearts and thoughts that they may rest on You today and that throughout today, we shall abide in Your Presence and do...

Thank You Heavenly Father for leading us into a brand new day. Thank You for preserving our lives all through the night and that of our families and friends. Thank You for Your daily provision of food and water for us to eat and drink and be healthy, may Your Name alone be glorified forever in our lives in Jesus Name, Amen. Forgive us O Lord where we have sinned against You and look not upon us in Your wrath; but in Your tender and kind mercies. Lead us today Heavenly Father, let us not fall prey to anything that would harm us physically, spiritually and psychologically. Give us our daily bread for today and help us to learn how to depend on You. All these we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, Amen This early morning prayer was said by Sir, Dr. Jerry - the First Oguzie: JP As a contribution to the mandate of "In His Image Ministries" - IHIM and "The Elyon Fellowship" - TEFEL Like our Facebook Page :      Join our Fa...

Early Morning Prayer - Friday 10. 11. 17 Our God and our Father, we thank You for Your grace and mercy which have brought us back to the land of the living from the no man's land we sojourned to while we slept. We realize that on our own we are nothing, on our own we cannot help ourselves and this is due to the fact that in sin did our parents conceive us, in sin did they raise us and in sin do we live, if we then say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves but if we confess our sins, Father, You are Just and Faithful to not only forgive us our sins but to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Lord we bow before You confessing our sins, the ones we committed knowingly, the ones we committed unknowingly through the thoughts of our hearts, the words of our mouth and the actions of our bodies and Father we plead that You look upon the Cross on which Your Only Beloved Son died and shed His Blood for the cleansing of mankind to forgive us our sins. We pledge that from h...

Sunday September 10 Bible Reading:     Luke 11: 1 - 13 Topic:                  Teach Us How To Pray The Disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. They must have been praying since they were born but as they observed Jesus (v. 1), they realized that they needed to be taught how to pray. They did not behave as some church members today who do not wish to ask questions about spiritual things, they do not understand. The Disciples asked, and Jesus taught them a model pattern of prayer. This shows that if we do not thirst for a deeper knowledge of spiritual truths, we might remain at the level where we are, no matter our position in the Church hierarchy. The Disciples followed Jesus for a long time and witnessed His prayer habits, yet were ignorant of how to pray. In this model prayer, Jesus teaches us to hallow God's Name in worshi...
