Daily Fountain 2017 - 2410 - Ushering In The Day

Tuesday October 24 Bible Reading:     Rom. 13: 8 - 14 Topic:                  Ushering In The Day No matter how long the night may be, the day will surely come. In Genesis Chapter Number 1, we learnt the full day starts from evening to morning. It is always the night that comes first, then the day. Therefore the day should not come as a surprise to a man who has been in the night. And God wants us to be ready for the day when it arrives. Daily Fountain 2017 - Let There Be Light

Thursday May 4 Bible Reading:      Gen. 1 : 1 - 13 Topic:          Let There Be Light In the beginning, God spoke into darkness that covered the surface of the earth saying "let there be light" and light appeared. This darkness is not just ordinary darkness at night; it also signifies a troubled and confused state of mind, a life outside of Christ. This is why we can have uninterrupted power supply and yet live lives full of the darkness of sin The good news is that God can give you light through His Word. Psalm 119: 130 tells us that the entrance of God's Word light and His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Ps. 119: 105) We can speak God's Word into our dark situations and light will appear. John 8: 12 also tells us that Jesus is the Light of the world and if we follow Him, we will not walk in darkn...

Saturday April 1 Bible Reading:      John 1: 1 - 10 Topic:          Jesus The Light Of The World Light is essential to our daily lives. If we try to walk at night in an unfamiliar environment without any source of light, we are likely to encounter untold difficulties. In today's reading, John introduces Jesus both as Word and Light. God created all things by means of His Word (Ps. 33: 9; 148: 5) Just as the Word manifests Himself in nature and indeed all creation so also He ought to manifest in our everyday lives. John also calls Jesus the Light of the men because He points humanity to God and reveals everything about God: holiness, purity, righteousness e.t.c. He makes clear the meaning of life as well as how to live a purposeful life. When Christ lives in us, we also live in Him and we in a sense become the light of the world point...
