Daily Fountain 2017 - Kingdom Of The World Versus Kingdom Of Christ

Friday August 11 Bible Reading:      Rev. 11: 15 - 19 Topic:                   Kingdom Of The World Versus Kingdom Of Christ The sounding of the trumpet by the 7th Angel was followed by loud voices in heaven proclaiming that "The Kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our God and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" The Kingdom of the world is controlled by satan and is characterized by sin, darkness and disobedience to God (Eph. 2: 1 -   4). In contrast the Kingdom of Christ is characterized by righteousness, peace, joy and everlasting life (v. 17; Rom. 14: 17; 1 Cor. 4: 20; Rev. 12: 10; 19: 6 - 8) If anyone repents of his sins, believes the Gospel and gives His life to Christ, he transfers from the Kingdom of the world and darkness to the Kingdom of Christ (Col. 1: 13 - 14; Eph. 2: 12 - 13). Daily Fountain 2017 - A Time Of Rejoicing

Saturday June 24 Bible Reading:      Luke 1: 57 - 66 Topic:          A Time Of Rejoicing That which was impossible with me was made possible with God Elizabeth, who was adjudged barren was blessed with a child at her old age. Men and women gathered to rejoice over what the Lord had done for the family (v. 58). Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning - Ps. 30: 5b There was a fulfillment of the words of the angel of the Lord. Note the issues raised by the angel in Luke 1: 13 - 17. The name John was not common amongst the people at that time but the miracle that followed the writing of the name by Zacharias was a confirmation that the child John was special and was born for a special mission of God. No one can alter or stop God's plan for you. It may be delayed but as you trust God whole-heartedly, know that God will bring joy to every situation in your...

Monday May 22 Bible Reading:      Gen. 16: 7 - 16 Topic:          Go Back And Submit God is not the Author of confusion. He recognizes order and equally expects His people to obey rules. After she ran away from home, the Angel of the Lord told Hagar to go back and submit to her mistress Sarai. Today many of us would have advised night vigils, dry fasting and violent prayers for Sarai's death so she could possess her possessions in Abram's family. But God knows that Hagar was not justified in her conduct. Be careful about how you pass judgment in matters over which you do not have the complete picture, especially when it concerns marriage, servant and master misunderstanding e.t.c. After the instruction to submit, the Angel revealed God's plan for Hagar and the child she would bear. There's always God's will in every situation and good success )Josh. 1: 9) would come as w...
