Daily Fountain 2017 - Weep No More

Friday July 28 Bible Reading:      Rev. 5: 1 - 14 Topic:                   Weep No More We weep for a variety of reasons --- bereavement, pain, sadness, frustration, hopelessness, despair, e.t.c. In today's passage, John wept because no one in Heaven, on Earth or under the Earth was found worthy to open the scroll in God's right Hand or even to look at it. However one of the Elders consoled John with this good news: "Do not weep. Behold the Lamb of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals" (v. 5) Christ prevailed at Calvary, wiping out "the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us and .... nailed it to the Cross ..." Beloved, there is no more need to weep because Jesus has won the victory. We should join the Heavenly Choi...

Daily Fountain 2017 - Glorious Worship

Thursday July 27 Bible Reading:      Rev. 4: 1 - 11 Topic:                   Glorious Worship Today's text records John's vision of an open door and a voice calling him to come through so he could be shown what would take place in the future. Through the door he saw God's glorious Throne and other thrones surrounding it, occupied by twenty-four Elders splendidly dressed in white and wearing golden crowns. The truly awesome and glorious vision of lightning, thunderings and voices e.t.c. from the Throne, not surprisingly caused the living creatures to respond with worship. Worship is the only appropriate response to this Awesome, Holy, Almighty and Eternal God. God desires our worship but like the Elders, we must worship in Spirit and in Truth. And just as their worship was motivated by love, ours too must come from grateful heart...

Daily Fountain 2017 - A Time Of Rejoicing

Saturday June 24 Bible Reading:      Luke 1: 57 - 66 Topic:          A Time Of Rejoicing That which was impossible with me was made possible with God Elizabeth, who was adjudged barren was blessed with a child at her old age. Men and women gathered to rejoice over what the Lord had done for the family (v. 58). Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning - Ps. 30: 5b There was a fulfillment of the words of the angel of the Lord. Note the issues raised by the angel in Luke 1: 13 - 17. The name John was not common amongst the people at that time but the miracle that followed the writing of the name by Zacharias was a confirmation that the child John was special and was born for a special mission of God. No one can alter or stop God's plan for you. It may be delayed but as you trust God whole-heartedly, know that God will bring joy to every situation in your...
