Daily Fountain 2017 - Fulfill Your Vows

Wednesday September 13 Bible Reading:     1 Sam. 1: 24 - 28 Topic:                  Fulfill Your Vows To make a vow to the Lord is like entering into a covenant with Him. God is a covenant Keeper and He keeps His promises and expects us to keep ours. When Hannah prayed to God for a child, she made a vow (1 Sam. 1: 11). God answered her according to her petition and gave her Samuel. Our God is ever Faithful and will never fail in any covenant in which He is involved. Be assured that He will also answer your petition in Jesus Name. Vs. 27 - 28 reveal how Hannah fulfilled her vow by presenting the boy Samuel to God in Shiloh. She said "therefore, I also have lent him to the Lord .." She showed integrity and deep gratitude to God. It was not easy for her to release the small boy who had just been weaned from his mother, yet she had to do so tru...

Daily Fountain 2017 - The Lord Remembered Hannah

Tuesday September 12 Bible Reading:     1 Sam. 1: 12 - 23 Topic:                  The Lord Remembered Hannah We read yesterday how Hannah a barren woman prayed to God in her distress. Today, we see that God lifted her burden and her face brightened. When children of God earnestly pray and lay their burdens before God, their miracles begin with their burdens being lifted followed by joyful hearts and bright countenance. Have you experienced this in your prayer life? In the course of time, God remembered Hannah, she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel meaning "Because I have asked of him from the Lord" This is a wonderful breakthrough from the Most High. You too shall have your own breakthrough in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Are you waiting on God for any issues in your life? Is your faith becoming weak? Does it se...

Daily Fountain 2017 - Hannah Arose And Prayed To God

Monday September 11 Bible Reading:     1 Sam. 1: 1 - 11 Topic:                  Hannah Arose And Prayed To God Hannah, the wife of Elkanah had no children, because God had closed her womb. This sounds strange but sometimes God allows unexplainable situations in peoples' lives for reasons best known to Him and for His Glory ultimately. However, Elkanah had another wife called Peninnah who bore him children. She used to provoke Hannah to make her miserable because of her barrenness (Note: In the Creation Mandate, God does not permit polygamy - Gen. 2: 24; Matt. 19: 1 - 12) Hannah therefore found herself in a troubled home. Are you in a troubled home, or experiencing any barrenness? Be rest assured that Jesus, our burden Bearer will still the storm. God closed Hannah's womb; Elkanah and his entire family used to go to Shiloh yearly for worship...
