Daily Fountain 2017 - Snatched From Fire

Wednesday August 2 Bible Reading:      Rev. 7: 9 - 17 Topic:                   Snatched From Fire The Jews would not be the only tribulation saints. The joyful innumerable crowd in v. 9 are Gentiles. They stand before the Lamb dressed in white robes and holding palm branches, a symbol of victory. They rejoice greatly with the earlier raptured Church (The first company) - 1 Cor. 15: 5; 1 Thess. 4: 16 - 17. Verses 15 - 17 list the benefits that await them. Those who have suffered through the tribulation will soon forget their travails just as a woman forgets her labour pains once she delivers her baby. Nevertheless, though saved, they tasted the great tribulation and bear marks of its torture. They learnt their lesson in a hard way. If they believed the Gospel, when they first heard it, i.e. before t...

Daily Fountain 2017 - Give Them All To Jesus

Friday June 30 Bible Reading:      Gen. 22: 1 - 14 Topic:          Give Them All To Jesus! The offering of Isaac was a prototype and a foreshadow of that of Jesus Christ by God. Abraham was willing to offer to God his best, his only son and the one of his old age. Abraham did not count it too much for him to give Isaac to God as a sacrifice. God gave His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. We learn from ...

Daily Fountain 2017 - Excellent Sacrifice

Wednesday May 10 Bible Reading:      Gen. 4: 1 - 12 Topic:          Excellent Sacrifice Today, we see the way Cain and Abel brought their individual sacrifice to the Lord but God accepted the sacrifice of Abel and did not accept that of Cain. Heb. 11: 4 tells us that Abel offered a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain. The offering that Abel gave to the Lord is evidence of the fact that he was a righteous man. Sacrifices that God does not accept include: those that are not brought with a cheerful and willing heart, products of unrighteousness like stolen money, money made by fraudulent means or ungodly lifestyles e.t.c. God is not pleased with these sacrifices and does not accept them. If you want to offer an excellent sacrifice which God will honour, then 1.       You must First give your life to Christ Jesus as your primary gift ...
