My friends The first day of the new week has arrived and it is called Sunday. While not wanting to get involved in arguments as to whether Sunday is the first day of the week or not, but the faith which I confess has led me to believe that in resurrecting from the day on the third day after his crucifixion, death and burial, Christ set the seal on Sunday as the new first day of the week. Being called to be His follower, I also proclaim that and because of that, I want to urge you who believes in Him to make haste and go to His Holy Sanctuary and worship Him. God inhabits the praises of His people He does not eat the food we eat, He does not drink the liquids that we drink, He does not use our worldly currency, all He wants from us is adoration from broken and contrite hearts. The Heavens fill with glory when men who are called by God's Name here on earth, glorify and praise Him; nothing delights Him more than this. So, today, let...

Hello My Friends I thank the Lord for His mercy and His grace which He has made abundant for us to draw upon and which has brought us back to the land of the living from that land where we knew not ourselves. It's not who went to bed last night that woke up this morning in the same token, it is not all who woke up this morning, who have all their faculties intact. Some have taken ill and are being rushed to the hospital as I am writing;   some had bad dreams that they are so perplexed and confused; some have received a shocking news that has sent shock waves down their spines from which they are yet to recover But for you and I, God has preserved us and protected us Ought we not to be grateful to Him? As a child, I had no choice when it came to attending Sunday service because whether I liked it or yes, my Parents would ensure that I went to Church with my siblings and that was every blessed Sunday, whether it was raining cats and dogs or the Sun was beating sweat out of every person; the only thing that would make me not to go to Church with them on a Sunday was if I was on hospital admission and that was very very rare because my Mother took steps to ensure that we did not get sick. However when I turned 18 and out of the House, I "revolted". I did not believe that attending Sunday service made me a better Christian than those who did not so I did not see it again as an obligation to be performed by me like a ritual.
