Wednesday August 2 Bible Reading:      Rev. 7: 9 - 17 Topic:                   Snatched From Fire The Jews would not be the only tribulation saints. The joyful innumerable crowd in v. 9 are Gentiles. They stand before the Lamb dressed in white robes and holding palm branches, a symbol of victory. They rejoice greatly with the earlier raptured Church (The first company) - 1 Cor. 15: 5; 1 Thess. 4: 16 - 17. Verses 15 - 17 list the benefits that await them. Those who have suffered through the tribulation will soon forget their travails just as a woman forgets her labour pains once she delivers her baby. Nevertheless, though saved, they tasted the great tribulation and bear marks of its torture. They learnt their lesson in a hard way.
