Sunday October 8 (17th Sunday after Trinity) Bible Reading:     Matt.25: 14 - 30 Topic:                  Faithfulness In Service In today's reading, we observed the attitude of the three servants who received talents from their Master as he set out to travel. To one he gave five talents, to the second he gave two talents and the third he gave one talent, each according to his ability. On his return from his journey, he summoned his servants for stock taking. The man that received the five talents gained another five talents, the one with two talents gained another two talents and both of them were given the same commendation despite the number of talents gained because there were not given equal talents in the first place.
