Thursday June 29 (St. Peter the Apostle) Bible Reading:      Matt. 16: 13 - 20 Topic:          Who Do Men Say That I Am? Today is St. Peter's Day. We have an opportunity to remember and reflect on the life and ministry of Apostle Peter. Once Jesus asked His disciples "Who do men say that I am?" He received different answers; and He then pressed for what the disciples thought about Him (v. 15), "Who do you say that I am?" "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God" replied Peter (v. 16) Jesus blessed him and said this is a revelation from God and on this truth, "I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it". Christ is the Rock upon which the Church is built. Like Peter do you actually know Who Jesus is" Have you helped to open the eyes of other to the true identity of Christ?
