Daily Fountain 2017 - Stop Work Order

Friday August 25 Bible Reading:      Ezra 4: 7 - 14, 23 - 24 Topic:                   Stop Work Order William MacDonald's Believers Bible Commentary states that Ezra 4: 24 should follow Ezra 4: 5 in chronological order. Sunday April 9 Palm Sunday Bible Reading:      Matt. 21: 1 - 17 Topic:          Behold Your King Comes This passage falls into the last days of Jesus' Ministry on earth. Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a common animal meant for burden bearing (Gen. 49: 11) to bear the burden of men's sin. The people who expected a Political Deliverer from   Roman oppression gave Him a Royal Reception. The cry of the people - "Hosanna" - means 'save us now' He did indeed save but not in the way they thought He would. He eventually died on the Cross and ascended to the Right Hand of God. He will ultimately reign over all kings and nations. The triumphal entry was followed by Jesus' second cleansing of the Temple (John 2: 13-16). Corrupt money changers used exorbitant exchange rates and sacrificial doves were sold at great profit. All these took place in the only place ...
