God Loves You

God Loves You When your life has numerous challenges, do you ever think that there’s God Who cares for you and loves you? Let me tell you the truth, yes there is God Who loves you so much and He demonstrated His love by dying on the cross for you. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Can you imagine? God sent His one and only Son , Jesus, to the world to die for you. He wants you to know that He will never punish you because Jesus was punished in your place. Though others may be angry with you, but God will never be angry with you. Neither will He condemn you. The sum total of His anger against your sins already fell upon Jesus at the cross. When you know that you are God’s beloved, you will know everything will be alright. If you have lack, you know that His love will continue to provide you abundantly. You will not...

Daily Fountain 2017 - Press The Re-start Button

Saturday August 26 Bible Reading:      Ezra 5: 1 - 5 Topic:                   Press The Re-start Button Prompted by the Spirit of God, Prophets Haggai and Zechariah encouraged the Jews to resume work on the Temple instead of building their own private houses (Haggai 1: 4). Hence Zerubbabel and Jeshua obeyed and work resumed (v. 2) Opposition to the work came from the arrival of the Persian Governor - Tattenai and his team to the Temple site. They demanded to know who gave the Jews the authority to restart the work and the names of Jewish leaders (vs. 3 - 4). Because of the Divine Presence with the Jews, the opposition could not stop the work but merely sent a letter to King Darius to determine what should be done. Whenever the Spirit of God moves you to act, you should obey. If any opposition comes, you should ju...

Daily Fountain 2017 - Stop Work Order

Friday August 25 Bible Reading:      Ezra 4: 7 - 14, 23 - 24 Topic:                   Stop Work Order William MacDonald's Believers Bible Commentary states that Ezra 4: 24 should follow Ezra 4: 5 in chronological order. The stop work order by the Jewish enemies gave rise to no work at the Temple until two years after Darius became King. We see a letter accusing the Jews of rebellion (vs. 6 - 23). Therefore King Artaxerxes issued a stop work order. The Temple had been finished earlier under King Darius before King Xerxes (Ahasuerus) (v. 6) and King Artaxerxes (v. 7) Hence the letter recorded in vs. 6 - 23 was written after the Temple had been rebuilt and concerned the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem and not the Temple. The walls were later completed with the help of God in the time of Nehemiah (Neh. 6: 15 - 16) The enemy is...
