Daily Fountain 2017 - You Are More Than Conquerors

Monday October 2

Bible Reading:     Rom. 8: 31 - 39
Topic:                  You Are More Than Conquerors

Every believer has a guaranteed security God had purchased by the sacrifice of His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ.

Addressing the issue of eternal security for the believers, Paul rhetorically asked what shall separate us .... who shall separate ... what shall cut us off from God's love? His answer is absolutely nothing whether in Heaven or on the earth. And who shall accuse the believer and cause him to lose his justification before God? None whatsoever

As we continue in our sojourn on the earth, we shall have our fair share of  troubles, trials, but God's promise is that we shall not be overrun or overwhelmed. Indeed with our lives hid in Christ in God, we are more than conquerors (v. 37) to the glory of God.

Jesus has fought the mother of all battles for is over two thousand years ago and won the victory for us (Col. 2: 5). Thus we are in God's Kingdom and as soldiers are rightly kitted and solidly placed on the victory ground.

Prayer
Father, thank You for making me one of Your redeemed people and being more than a conqueror through Christ Who strengthens me, Amen.

Memory Verse             Rom. 8: 1
"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
