Daily Fountain 2017 - Divine Deliverance

Tuesday August 15

Bible Reading:     Rev. 12: 13 - 17
Topic:                  Divine Deliverance

The devil now makes three vicious attempts to destroy the woman and her children.

These are pursuing the woman (v. 13) raising a flood of water to sweep her away (v. 15) and making war against the rest of her offspring (v. 17).

It is comforting to note that in each case the Lord provided divine deliverance (vs. 14 - 16)

Frustrated by his inability to destroy the woman, the devil responds by making war against the woman's people.

This teaches us two truths
1.      Though defeated by Christ on the Cross of Calvary, he (the devil) still wars against Christ's people through persecution, trials, health challenges and other difficulties (1 Pet. 5: 8)

2.      The devil may not attack you because you are spiritually strong but he may try to get you through those related to you.

This is why it is important to stand in the gap for our families and friends that they may not fall victim to the attacks of the enemy.

Whatever is the case, we should stand fast in our faith, knowing that God will surely deliver us (1 Pet. 5: 9 - 10)

Prayer
O Lord, enable me to be in You always so that each time the enemy comes against me like a flood, I will see You raise a Standard against him, Amen.

Memory Verse             Rev. 12: 17
"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the Commandment of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
