Daily Fountain 2017 - Unfolding Divine Judgements

Friday August 4

Bible Reading:     Rev. 8: 6 - 13
Topic:                  Unfolding Divine Judgements

Today we read about the effects of the four trumpets sounded.

The judgement was really catastrophic and disastrous: a third of trees, vegetation and earth's consumables are destroyed with fire; a third of the earth's seas turn into blood and its aquatic life die; a third of rivers and fountains become bitter, and poisonous.

Many die of thirst.

All these remind us of God's judgement on Pharaoh and Egypt (Ex. 7 - 12)

The fourth trumpet judges all things pertaining to light. There is darkness. The effects of these judgements on the environment made life miserable and unbearable, but worse was to come (v. 13).

It is really a fearful thing to fall into the Hands of the Living God! (Heb. 10: 31)

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof (Ps. 24: 1). In His anger, He judges His creations the way He wants. Where are the gods that contend for power?

Is. 45: 5 - 7 clearly declare the Supremacy of God. He is the Ultimate Only those who run into Him for refuge are saved. (Pro. 18: 10)

Have you taken that step?
If not, today is your chance to secure your eternal destiny

Do not delay.

Prayer
My God, You are my Shelter from the stormy blast and my Eternal Home, grant me Your grace to walk and work that I may dwell in You, Amen.

Memory Verse             Rev. 8: 13
"And the seven Angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
