Daily Fountain 2017 - Have You Been Sealed?

Saturday August 5

Bible Reading:     Have You Been Sealed?
Topic:                  Rev. 9: 1 - 12

The scene now shifts to the abyss, the home of demons, a smoke filled bottomless pit.

When it was unlocked by a fallen star, locusts armed for battle emerged.

Note their description and appearance in vs. 7 - 10a.

The assignment of these strange and fearful locusts was to spare all vegetation which is usually the food for locusts and torment humans who did not bear God's seal on their forehead - the mark on those who were authentic children of God.

The punishment would last for five months and the pain would be so great that victims would prefer death. Unfortunately, they would not get their wish to die.

As we saw in Rev. 7 (reading of August 1), the Holy Spirit is God's seal on those who belong to Him. Now is the time of salvation. now is the time to acquire that God's seal )2 Cor. 6: 2) by confessing and repenting of your sins, and asking Jesus to come into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour.

This step admits you into the family of God and you would receive the Holy Spirit with Whom He seals all those who belong to Him. (2 Cor. 1: 22)

You need this seal.

Prayer
Saviour, draw me closer to You, Amen.

Memory Verse             Rev. 9: 4
"And it was commanded them (the locusts) that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree: but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
