Daily Fountain 2017 - Who Is Jesus Christ

Tuesday August 29

Bible Reading:     Col. 1: 15 - 23
Topic:                  Who Is Jesus Christ?

Consider these important attributes of Christ

1.      He is the Image of the Invisible God (v. 15); that is the exact representation of God (Heb. 1: 3; John 14: 9)

2.      He is the First born over all creation (v. 16), the Unique Son of God

3.      He created all things for Himself (v. 16)

4.      He existed before all creation and sustains the universe (v. 17)

5.      He is the Head of the Church (v. 18)

6.      He has Pre-eminence in everything, being the First to rise from the dead (v. 18)

7.      The Fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him (v. 19)

8.      God reconciles everything to Himself through Christ (vs. 20 - 22)

Reflect on Who Christ is.

Do people see Christ when they look at you?

The Holy Spirit lives in you to conform you into His Image (Ro. 8: 29)

Realize that you were created by Christ for Himself; therefore live for Him and let Him have pre-eminence in your life.

If you have not been reconciled to God, repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your life now

Prayer
Almighty Father, may You reveal Jesus to me and help me obey Him always, Amen.

Memory Verse             Col. 1: 16
"For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all things were created by Him and for Him."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
