Daily Fountain 2017 - Jesus The Final And Absolute Sacrifice

Saturday January 21st

Bible Reading:     Heb. 10: 1 - 18

Topic:         Jesus The Final And Absolute Sacrifice

Today's text teaches the Superiority of Christianity over Judaism, Grace over Law, New Testament over the Old Testament, the Blood of Jesus over the blood of animals and the mystery of a permanent atonement over daily sacrifice.

Jesus liberates us (Jews and Gentiles alike) from rituals of Judaism through the shedding of His Precious Blood.

Thus He offers total salvation atonement for sin

A Believer's salvation is eternally secure because of the finished work of Christ on the Cross.

This however should not be misunderstood to mean that we can live anyhow we like just because we claim that we are saved.

Though Christ offers free and full salvation, we still have a responsibility to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling (humility) as Paul commands us in Phil. 2: 12

Jesus' proclamation - "it is finished" (John 9: 30) - puts nullity to other demands for or means of salvation.

Jesus shed His Blood once for all for your salvation and that settles every controversy that might be going on around your life right now.

No other ransom or ritual is necessary.

Believe the Word of God; Jesus has set you free (John 8: 36). There is no need to live with guilt, fear or hopelessness any longer.

Prayer:
Lord Your Word is true. Please help my unbelief, Amen

Memory verse:   Heb. 10: 4
"For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sin."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
