Daily Fountain 2017 - The New Covenant

Friday January 20th

Bible Reading:     Heb. 9: 11 - 28

Topic:         The New Covenant

Yesterday, we saw that the Old Covenant with all its regulations could not deliver man from the power of sin and the devil.

This was because, not only were the Priests of the Covenant the incapacitated by sinfulness and weakness, the blood of animals could not take away sin permanently. At best they covered it before a Holy God and so they had to continually repeat the process.

The Good News is that there is a New Covenant with a new High Priest from Heaven.

He is the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3: 38). He is the Mediator of the New Covenant.

He did not enter the earthly Tabernacle in Jerusalem but the Heavenly Tabernacle made without hands. And He did not enter with the blood of animals but with His own Sinless Perfect Blood.

With His own Blood He atoned for the whole human race. God was pleased with this Sacrifice (Heb. 10: 5 - 16)

God would save as many as would identify with this atonement of the High Priest, Jesus the Son of God

Repent now from your sins. Give your life to Jesus, the High Priest and Mediator of the New Covenant.

He promised to save you and dwell in you (Matt. 11: 28 - 29; Rev. 3: 20)

There is no other sacrifice that can save anybody. Jesus is asking you to come to Him and be saved (Heb. 10: 26 - 31)

Prayer:
Thank You Jesus for dying for me. I acknowledge my hopelessness, I put my faith in You, make me Your Own, Amen

Memory verse:   Heb. 9: 22
"And almost all things are by law purged with blood and without shedding of blood is no remission."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
