Daily Fountain 2017 - Joy That Follows Forgiveness

Sunday January 29th

Bible Reading:     Heb. 10: 26 - 39

Topic:         Joy That Follows Forgiveness

Nothing compares with one being free from sin. There is joy inexpressible.

We are meant to understand three things from this Psalm

1.      That true forgiveness comes from God

2.      That there is need for us to confess our sins before God for us to obtain Divine and complete forgiveness. The Bible says "though our sins are like scarlet, God will make them white as snow." So we have to confess our sins to God whenever we transgress

3.      That we will have true joy when our sins are forgiven (vs. 2) And when our sins are forgiven, we will be free from guilt.
Forgiveness brings joy and you will begin to feel God's presence.

The Bible says "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1 : 9)

Unless you do this, you will never find peace in this world (Ps. 32: 3 - 5)

The peace He gives is not like that of the world (John 14: 27). His peace is so overwhelming that we cannot fathom its depth

So beloved in Christ, go to Christ, confess your sins and obtain Divine forgiveness and have the joy of the Lord.

Prayer:
My Heavenly Father, please forgive me my sins and grant me the joy of my salvation, Amen

Memory verse:   Ps. 32: 10
"Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
