Daily Fountain 2017 - Jesus Our Confidant

Tuesday January 10th

Bible Reading:     Heb. 4: 14 - 5: 1 - 6

Topic:         Jesus Our Confidant

Can you imagine the fate of a ship on the ocean without a compass?

When we set our journey to an unknown destination, it is usually surrounded by fears, apprehension and uncertainties.

If we embark on the same  journey with a guide, however we are more confident.

This was the case with Abram (Heb. 11: 8 - 10; Gen. 12: 1 - 4)

In this life, we are like a VOYAGER. Our journey can be broken into stages. The year 2017 is a segment of this our life's journey.

The good news for us is this: in Jesus the revealed Messiah we have a sure Guide, a Guide that can never fail because in Him all things consist - the Past, the Present and the Future (Jn. 1: 3; Col. 1: 16 - 18). He is our Great High Priest Who has passed through all, hence we can journey on with great confidence because He understands our ignorance and human frailties (Phil. 2: 8)

However rough the path of our journey may be, we will OVERCOME every OBSTACLE as we place our TRUST in His ABILITIES.

Faith in the Great High Priest has the matchless potential of dispelling all fears.

Therefore make Him your Confidant and you will have a good story to tell at the end of every segment of your life's journey

Prayer:
Oh Lord Jesus, I confess that You are my Great High Priest. In You O Lord I place my confidence as I move on my life's journey even in this year 2017. Guide me O Thou Great Jehovah and land me safe on Canaan's side
Amen

Memory verse: "For we have not an High Priest Which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin" Heb. 4: 15

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
