Daily Fountain 2017 - Our Weapon

Friday September 29

Bible Reading:     Rev 12: 7 - 12
Topic:                  Our Weapon

Michael, the name of the Archangel in today's passage means "Who is like God" (Jude v. 9; Dan. 10: 13, 21; Dan 12: 1)

He is both an Archangel and a warrior (1 Thess. 4: 16)

Before Jesus came into the world, satan controlled the world by the power of his deception.

However beginning with the Ministry of Jesus, His Word and Works have cast satan and his forces down from their control over all humanity

Those who hear and believe the Gospel are not under the deceptive control of satan anymore. The eternal plan of redemption was accomplished on the Cross and perfected in the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

The result of God's salvation is glorious: satan is banned from Heaven - will no longer accuse believers before God nor have power over them.

Today, we have the weapons we can use to gain victory over satan - the Blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony and loyalty to Christ even unto death.

Only believe and you will be saved

Prayer
Grant O Lord that we may fully appropriate this salvation that came by Jesus Christ, Amen.

Memory Verse             Rev. 12: 11
"And they overcame him (the great dragon) by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
