Saturday July 22
(St. Mary Magdalene's Day)
Bible Reading: John 20: 1 - 8
Topic: Epitome Of Love And Gratitude
Today we celebrate Mary
Magdalene, from whom Jesus had cast out seven demons (Mark. 16: 9).
In gratitude, Mary
followed Jesus throughout His Earthly Ministry and used her resources to
faithfully care for Jesus and His Disciples. (Luke 8: 3)
She faithfully followed
Him to Calvary and was one of a small band of women who saw Him crucified and
followed to see where He was buried.
On Sunday morning when
Mary went to the tomb with some other women to anoint Jesus' Body since they
couldn't complete the process on the day He was buried, they found His tomb
empty because Jesus had risen from the dead.
How grateful are you to
Christ Who died for you and saved you from sin and satan's bondage?
Mary Magdalene was grateful to Him even unto death.
Mary Magdalene was grateful to Him even unto death.
What have you contributed
to the work of God and how caring and committed are you?
Jesus commands us to love Him and care for one another and if we do, He will reveal Himself to us as He did to Mary Magdalene.
Jesus commands us to love Him and care for one another and if we do, He will reveal Himself to us as He did to Mary Magdalene.
For what 'first' will you
be remembered in your Church, Family, Community?
We are only remembered by what we have done says a song writer

Prayer
Lord, give me the grace to
always remain grateful to you and to those You use to bless me, Amen.
Memory Verse John 20: 2
"Then she (Mary
Magdalene) runneth and cometh to Simon peter and to the other disciple whom
Jesus loved and saith unto them. They have taken away the Lord out of the
Sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid Him."
