Daily Fountain 2017 - No Room For Lukewarmness

Are you one of those lukewarm Christians?

Wednesday July 26

Bible Reading:     Rev. 3: 14 - 22
Topic:                  No Room For Lukewarmness

Lukewarmness in this context can simply be defined as lack of passion for the faith which we profess.

This was the problem of the Laodicean Church and is one of the greatest challenges facing the body of Christ today.

In this message, the Lord deplores their lukewarmness and warns of its dire consequences in the Kingdom life.

"I am ready to spit you out of My Mouth" (v. 16) was His verdict on the Laodiceans who felt alright with their spiritual lives.

It doesn't matter what you think about yourself or what wonderful things everybody is saying about you, what is most important is what the Lord thinks about you.

Like the Laodiceans, the Lord sees into our lives and knows our true condition and only His assessment matters for our spiritual health and destiny.

How is your relationship with the King?

Jesus still gives us opportunities to repent and make things right with Him but for us to do this, we must be willing to examine ourselves and with humility our acknowledge our need for Him.

He is our righteousness, sanctification and wisdom.

A genuine room for Him in your heart and passion for His Kingdom business is all He is asking for.

Is that too much for you to give????

Prayer
Lord Jesus, I confess my half-hearted love for You and now invite You to come in and help me to love and serve You aright all the days of my life, Amen.

Memory Verse             Rev. 3: 15
"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would, thou wert cold or hot."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
