Daily Fountain 2017 - The Judgment Set Over The Earth

Saturday July 29

Bible Reading:     Rev. 6: 1 - 8
Topic:                  The Judgment Set Over The Earth

In today's reading, John sees four horsemen revealed as the first four seals which represent God's judgment on the corrupt and evil world system and the ungodly are broken.

In order of the opening of the seals, the first rider went out to conquer, the second to take peace away from the earth, the third to cause famine and the fourth to cause widespread death and destruction in the earth.

Everyone agrees that we are in the last days because throughout the world terrible things are happening.

War, death and destruction ravage many Countries including Nigeria and Jesus warned that we see these things happening, we should know that the end is near.

That being the case brethren, let me ask you a most poignant question: How prepared are you for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ?

Only those whose names are found in the Book of Life will be saved.

Irrespective of the great famine, scarcity, high prices, hunger and death, the believer in Christ like the olive-trees will not lack provision, promotion, protection and preservation.

Prayer
Lord, help me to live uprightly so as to escape Your wrath for it is a fearful thing to fall into the Hands of the Living God (Heb. 10: 31), Amen.

Memory Verse             Rev. 6: 1a
"And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard as it were the noise of thunder ....."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
