Daily Fountain 2017 - When God Speaks

Thursday July 6

Bible Reading:     Gen. 24: 50 - 60
Topic:                  When God Speaks

It was clear to all - both Abraham's servant and Rebekah's family - that God was involved in the unfolding story before them.

And true wisdom demands that no man resist or seek to truncate what God has ordained in His Infinite Wisdom

When God speaks concerning any matter, all obstacles are ultimately dismantled because no man has the right to say no when God has said yes on any matter.

"Rebekah is yours, take her and go, let her marry your Master's son as the Lord hath commanded" was the response of Rebekah's family

It is overwhelmingly clear that Abraham's servant acknowledged God from the beginning to the end (vs. 12 - 15, 52), an example that every child of God must follow in all situations.

In Jer. 33: 3, God says "call to Me and I will answer you and show great and mighty things you do not know"

No man fails in any mission in which God is assigned His rightful place.

Despite the emotional distress, Rebekah's departure would likely cause her family, they sent her off with hearty blessings.

God's children must learn to let go when God says so and this nor grudgingly but heartily.

Prayer
Lord, to learn to consciously submit to Your Will in all areas of life, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Memory Verse             Gen. 24: 60
"And they blessed Rebekah and said unto her; Thou art our sister, be thou the Mother of thousands, of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
