Daily Fountain 2017 - Who Is Qualified For The Blessing

Wednesday July 12

Bible Reading:     Gen. 27: 1 - 17
Topic:                  Who Is Qualified For The Blessing?

Many have blamed Isaac for wanting to bless Esau for the wrong reasons - because he ". . . ..  . . . loved Esau because he ate of his game" (Gen. 25: 28)

Some blame Rebekah for manipulating her husband to accomplish God's purpose.

Yet others blame Jacob for going along with his mother's ungodly plan.

However though they were all wrong in manipulating situations for their selfish ends, it is clear that the blessing was meant for Jacob.

Esau had spurned his birthright for a plate of porridge (Gen. 25: 32); and God would not bestow His blessings on those who would not value it.

Rebekah knew the prophesies God gave even before the twins were born (Gen. 25: 23) but lacked the faith to trust God to bring them to pass.

Have you through your speech and character derailed the purpose of God concerning your life? the good news is that we serve a merciful God who forgives us and grants us a second chance as He did to Jacob.

Repentance will always put us back on the pathway of God's will and blessing

Prayer
Gracious Father, teach me to trust Your timing for Your purposes to be fulfilled in my life and help me to repent of any ways in which I have derailed from Your path for my life, Amen.

Memory Verse             Gen. 27: 5
"And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison and to bring it"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
