Daily Fountain 2017 - Weep No More

Friday July 28

Bible Reading:     Rev. 5: 1 - 14
Topic:                  Weep No More

We weep for a variety of reasons --- bereavement, pain, sadness, frustration, hopelessness, despair, e.t.c.

In today's passage, John wept because no one in Heaven, on Earth or under the Earth was found worthy to open the scroll in God's right Hand or even to look at it.

However one of the Elders consoled John with this good news: "Do not weep. Behold the Lamb of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals" (v. 5)

Christ prevailed at Calvary, wiping out "the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us and .... nailed it to the Cross ..."

Beloved, there is no more need to weep because Jesus has won the victory.

We should join the Heavenly Choir in worship, singing: "Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing"

And in gratitude, let us strive to live worthy of our salvation in readiness for when the Lord will come to take us home, where there will be no more weeping.

Prayer
Dear Lord, help me to look beyond the things that trouble me now and focus on Christ in Whom is the hope of my eternal salvation, Amen.

Memory Verse             Rev. 5: 3
"And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book neither to look thereon."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
