Daily Fountain 2017 - When God Blesses A Man

Monday July 10

Bible Reading:     Gen. 26: 12 - 22
Topic:                  When God Blesses A Man

Having obeyed God and stayed in Gerar during the famine, instead of moving to Egypt, Isaac sowed in that land and reaped a hundredfold.

This was possible, not just because Isaac was the seed of Abraham but also because he looked beyond his circumstance and trusted and obeyed God.

This prosperity brought him envy, hatred and rejection from those who previously accepted him as a friend.

As God's children in Christ, we too are joint-heirs with Christ of all the blessings of Heaven )Eph. 1: 3).

No matter the difficulties, challenges, scarcity, economic meltdown in the Nation, e.t.c. we too will prosper if we trust God as Isaac did.

Therefore, we should not allow the state of the Nation's economy to dictate how we live our lives.

God is able to make us prosper in our own land of famine.

God has determined greatness for us not just prosperity; for Isaac waxed great, went forward and grew until he became very great (v. 13)

You are in for the season of God's blessing; look up to Him, trust Him and obey Him that He may manifest and show Himself strong on your behalf.

Prayer
Oh Lord, thank You for all Your provisions for me. Help me to always stay connected to you in the Name of my Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Memory Verse             Gen. 26: 12
"Then Isaac sowed in that land and received in the same year an hundredfold and the Lord blessed him"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
