Daily Fountain 2017 - Benefits Of Living By God's Words

Sunday March 5

Bible Reading:     Psalms 119: 1 - 18

Topic:         Benefits of Living By God's Words

Psalm 119 is the longest Chapter in the Bible and begins with extolling the blessedness of the undefiled ones in the Way. The "undefiled one" is the person who sincerely believes the Word of God and whose life is regulated by the Scriptures.

Making the Word of God our standard of living is very important for us who are on the way to eternal life in Heaven.

Deut. 32: 47reveals it is not to be regarded as ineffective and insignificant because it is our life, and by this Word, we shall prolong our days in the land.

Notice that the Power of the Word is connected with the blessing of God in our lives.

The land was the inheritance of the Israelites from God and it is obeying His Words that would prolong their lives in it.

Today, our marriages, finances, family and all that give us joy are our inheritance from the Lord and we shall long enjoy them if we direct our life style to honour God's Word.

Prayer:
Father, I thank You because I am on the Way to eternal life. Cause me to love and obey Your Word in all that I do in this corrupt generation so as to possess all the blessings that come from doing so through Jesus Christ my Lord, Amen.

Memory verse:   Psalms 119: 8
"I will keep Thy Statutes, O forsake me not utterly"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
