Daily Fountain 2017 - Rejoice In The Lord All His Own

Sunday March 12

Bible Reading:     Psalms 33: 1 - 22

Topic:         Rejoice In The Lord All His Own

This Psalm is a hymn of praise probably written to celebrate the Power, Wisdom and Mercy of God .

It gives abundant reasons why God's People should rejoice in the Lord.

The source of the believers' joy is not in the world neither is it in themselves, but in the Lord.

New songs are put in their mouths because they too are new creatures. It is only the born again that can truly rejoice in the Lord in this world of uncertainty.

Reasons abound why believers should rejoice in the Lord.
His Word, because it is right (v. 4)
His Works because they are done in truth and in loving kindness (vs. 4, 5)
His Power (vs. 8, 9) because He is able to perform what He had promised
And His Counsel does not fail and finally we are able to rejoice in and praise Him because we are blessed.

He has chosen us for His Inheritance (v. 12) All spiritual blessings are ours because we belong to Him.

Therefore we should rejoice no matter the circumstances in which we find ourselves, reminding ourselves that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His Purpose." (Rom. 8: 28)

Prayer:
Father, thank You for being my Lord because I know that I am blessed beyond words, Amen.

Memory verse:   Psalms 33: 20
"Our soul waiteth for the Lord, He is our Help and our Shield"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
