Daily Fountain 2017 - Trust God For Tomorrow

Friday March 10

Bible Reading:     James 4: 13 - 17

Topic:         Trust God For Tomorrow

As human beings we sometimes make very exhaustive and meticulous plan for our lives without due consideration of submitting such plans under God's Will

James admonishes against such arrogance and foolishness seeing that we don't have control over our lives. God alone has that Power, therefore we should approach all our planning in a spirit of humility and say "if the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that (v. 15)

The Psalmist says "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain." (Psalm 127: 1)

Jesus counsels against anxiety over our material needs of food and clothing (Matt. 6: 25 - 34)

Since we have no power over what happens, it is only reasonable that we should depend entirely on the One Who has Absolute Power over ALL happenings in all days.

Proverbs 3: 5 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

Trusting the Lord for the unknown morrow brings peace to the mind and sound health to the soul.

You have no power over tomorrow therefore let God handle it , you can never regret doing so.

Prayer:
Thank You Lord Jesus because You hold my future in Your Hands, I ask for grace to trust You absolutely without wavering for a better tomorrow, Amen.

Memory verse:   James 4: 17
"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
