Daily Fountain 2017 - Incorruptible Beauty - II

Wednesday March 29

Bible Reading:     1 Peter 3: 8 - 12

Topic:         Incorruptible Beauty (II)

Yesterday, the Lord revealed to us that the beauty which comes from the "hidden person of the heart" is incorruptible, radiates in a person's life and attracts people to the Lord Jesus Christ.

This beauty primarily comes from the heart. Jesus said "a good man brings good things out of the good stored  up in his heart and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh" Lk. 6: 45

This means that our words and actions are largely determined by our thought pattern.

Either we curse or bless, it comes from the heart.

For your hidden man of the heart to be beautiful, you must experience a transformation or renewal of your mind (Rom. 12: 2)

These practical steps must be taken.

We achieve this by examining ourselves, identifying, confessing and repenting of the sins in our lives and inviting Jesus to rule as Lord and Saviour of our lives (Isa. 1: 18; John 1: 12 - 13; 2 Cor. 1: 3 - 5; 1 John 1: 8 - 9, 2: 1 - 2). We must also meditate on God's Word and ask the Holy Spirit to empower us to live godly lives.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, take my life and let it be consecrated to Thee, take my heart and let it be Your Royal Throne, Amen.

Memory verse:   1 Pet. 3: 10
"For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips that they speak no guile"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
