Daily Fountain 2017 - 031117 - Know Who You Are!

Friday November 3

Bible Reading:     Eph. 1: 1 - 14
Topic:                  Know Who You Are

In v. 3 ff, we are told that we are the "Chosen of God"

Before the creation of the World, God chose us in Christ Jesus to be a family set apart for His Glory.

But how did this happen?
He purchased our freedom from sin and condemnation through the shedding of the blood of His Beloved Son Jesus Christ.

Why did Christ do this?
So that we should be holy and blameless before Him, set apart for God's use as instruments of change in our World.

How can we live up the standards?
God has given us His Holy Spirit to confirm by His Presence in us that we are children of God (Rom. 8: 14) and as His seal of promise, that we will inherit all that God has promised us.

Do you realize the great priviledge there is in being made a member of the family of God through Jesus Christ and knowing that one day, you will finally inherit the glory of eternal life with Jesus Christ?

Prayer

My Father,  thank You for my redemption through the Blood of Jesus Christ. Grant that by the Power of the Holy Spirit, I will live my life each day as someone set apart for Your Own Use, I pray in Jesus Name, Amen.

Memory Verse             Eph. 1: 11
"In Whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him Who worketh all things after the Counsel of His Own Will."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
