Daily Fountain 2017 - 061117 - Raised Up To Sit With Christ In The Heavenly Realms

Monday November 6

Bible Reading:     Eph. 2: 1 - 10
Topic:                  Raised Up With Christ To Sit In The Heavenly Realms

Paul reminds us in this passage today before Jesus saved us, we were living disobedient lives that missed the mark of God's righteous standard.

He reminds us too that without God, we crave the wrong and forbidden things and end up surrendering to satan who becomes our master and who finally leads us to our eternal destruction.

This conforms to Jesus declaration in John 10: 10 that satan comes but "to steal, to kill and to destroy" only God's great grace and merciful intervention through Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross brings abundant life.

But God did not just save us, He has united us with Christ in the Heavenly Places out of the reach of our enemy, satan and his cohorts.

And all this is by grace so no one should boast. Moreover God saved us so we can do good works on His behalf and in gratitude we should wholly dedicate our lives to His service.

Are you showing your gratitude to God by the way you live and serve?

Prayer
Loving Father, thank You for lifting me from the miry pit of sin and setting me upon the Solid Rock. May I always live my life to praise and work for You in Jesus Name, Amen.

Memory Verse             Eph. 2: 6
"And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in the Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
