Daily Fountain 2017 - Believers Yellow Paper

Thursday February 23

Bible Reading:     Rom. 6: 15 - 23

Topic:         Believers Yellow Paper

Every year, a few weeks to the exam, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) would send the Science Teachers, a guide to the Practical Examination.

That written guide contains basic information that would help the Science Teachers prepare the reagents, apparatus and specimens; and it was popularly called 'Yellow Paper"

And so whenever the yellow paper comes and the Science Teachers begin to teach in that direction, students paid greater attention because that was to determine whether they would pass the practical exam or not.

Today, our reading is instructing us to be mindful of the practical exam of daily holy living.

Wherever we have failed God by yielding ourselves negatively unto sin and ungodliness, it is because we have not read His Yellow Paper.

Today is a day of practical exam of living out the life of Christ and the Word of God is our "Yellow Paper," to direct us in all the issues of life.

As you study the "yellow paper", the World, circumstances and issues of life ate the practical exams where you prove that you have understood His Instructions in the Bible.

Prayer:
Lord, give me the grace to put into practice what You have taught me today, Amen.

Memory verse:   Rom. 6: 23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
