Daily Fountain 2017 - Fully Paid

Monday February 20

Bible Reading:     Rom. 5: 1 - 11

Topic:         Fully Paid

A story was told of a school boy from a very poor family. This boy was caught stealing another boy's lunch bag - an offense that was highly abhorred by the School Authority. So he was to face the School's disciplinary action.

As the Teacher brought out the boy for his punishment, a bigger boy took pity on the little boy and volunteered to take his punishment.

The Teacher considering that the important thing was payment for the offense, punished the bigger boy for the offense of the young thief.

Jesus did the same thing.

In our text we read that "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (v. 8).

We did not bargain with Him to die for us but He saw our need and came to the rescue.

So live for Him Who died for you by worshipping and serving Him with all you have and all you are.

That is how to thank Him Who has fully paid your debt before God.

Prayer:
Lord, help me that all through my life, I will live in appreciation of the debt You fully paid for me, , Amen

Memory verse:   Rom. 5: 8
"But God commandeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
