Daily Fountain 2017 - Jesus - An Answered Prayer

Thursday February 2

Bible Reading:     Luke 2L 25 - 35

Topic:         Jesus - An Answered Prayer

Simeon had been waiting for salvation, light for the Gentiles and the glory of the Israelites. Waiting here means continuous earnest prayers of faith.

God entered into a Covenant with him that his death would only come after he had met with Jesus,

Today marking the presentation of Christ, Simeon received Jesus from His parents and said the "Nunc Dimitis" in which he proclaimed Jesus the Salvation and Glory long awaited.

Receiving Jesus, Simeon received the answer to his prayers and the fulfillment of God's promise to him.

Salvation, Light and Glory summarize the entire needs and wants of man.

All we pray for are summed up in the mentioned terms.

Thus to have answers to your prayers is to meet with Jesus one on one through a personal spiritual encounter.

For Simeon it meant spiritual fulfillment and the end of his earthly journey as the way was now clear for him to die.

For us, it means the beginning of our spiritual journey which would end in eternity when we see Jesus face to face as Simeon did.

Prayer:
God, please help to live in such a way and manner that I shall see Jesus face to face and reign with Him forever, Amen

Memory verse:   Luke 2: 32
"A Light to lighten the Gentiles and the Glory of Thy People Israel."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
