Daily Fountain 2017 - Divine Programme Revealed

Friday May 19

Bible Reading:     Gen. 15: 12 - 16
Topic:         Divine Programme Revealed

Today's passage calls for deep reflection. Our wonderful God has the master plan for our lives and so it is in our own best interest to serve Him sincerely.

He showed Abram His present and future plans for him and his descendants.

His descendants would be strangers in a foreign land, be enslaved and ill treated for 400 years. Abram would die of a good old age and be buried in peace. The Lord would punish his descendants' oppressors and they would go out of bondage with great possessions (Gen. 25: 8; Ex. 12: 35, 40).

The best thing that can happen to you and your family is to walk with God. In life nobody knows what the future holds in store, therefore it is wise to hold on to God Who holds the future and reveals it to those He wishes.

Psalm 25: 4 says "The secret things of the Lord s with those who fear Him and He will shew them His covenant"

Serving God gives one a great advantage over others. If we decide to follow God faithfully He will use us to direct our lives and that of our families.

Divine programs could be revealed to us if we walk with God as Abram did.

Prayer:

Take my life oh Lord and let it be consecrated to Thee, Amen

Memory Verse:   Gen. 15: 13

"And He said unto Abram, know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them and they shall afflict them four hundred years"

God Is Not A Partial God

God Is Not A Partial God   I want to say something to someone today and that is the title of this message - God is not a partial God. Every day that the Sun rises, it does not rise for certain people that God loves more than others, it rises for all (including even those who don't believe in the existence of God) Every night that the Moon shines, it does not shine for a select group of persons who God loves most, it shines for all irrespective of their religious affiliations including those who have no religion. The 4 seasons happen for all inhabitants of the earth - there is no discrimination. Life happens to all irrespective of our belief system. Good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. Evil people prosper as much if not much more than good hearted people - Is that God's doing? You see, whenever you see someone doing something exceptional, something extraordinary it is not about luck, it is not about favour, it's not ev...

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

It's Easter Sunday

On the 1st day of the new week that is the 3rd day following His betrayal, trial, condemnation, crucifixion, death and burial, Jesus the Christ rose from the dead, thus making an indelible world history. And over 2000 years now, this story has made the rounds and no one has been able to controvert it. It remains as true as the Word of God Himself because it was prophesied that He Who would offer the eternal and last sacrifice, shall be condemned by those He came to save, He would be put to death but on the 3rd day He would rise again so that He could be the Master and Lord of both the dead and the living. In overcoming death and rising again from the dead, Christ gave us - believers - the power to also overcome death because even though we die, we shall rise again at the end of the age when He shall come to take us to His Home on High where we shall be with Him for ever. Be not afraid therefore, because Jesus conquered death and gave us victory As...
