Daily Fountain 2017 - No More Death

Wednesday May 3

Bible Reading:     1 Cor. 15: 50 - 58
Topic:         No More Death

The mystery of changing our earthly body to a glorious body will occur within a brief moment.

Our transformation will be heralded by the sound of a trumpet, and the dead shall rise never to die again, while the living shall be transformed and given immortality.

We shall triumphantly declare "Oh death where is your sting, oh grave where is your victory?"

1 Thess. 4: 16 tells us that the dead in Christ shall arise first.

The dead in Christ are those who when they were alive accepted Jesus as Lord of their lives and lived for Him.

This prospect of meeting Jesus one day in the air when the trumpet sounds is a great incentive to live righteous lives here and now.

As 1 John 3: 3 tells us, those who have this hope in them purify themselves as He (Christ) is pure.

Every genuine Christian who is looking forward to this exciting gathering in Christ would strive to shun sin and worldliness and live by the priorities of the Kingdom especially in these last days.

Are you seriously anticipating meeting Christ?
Your life will show it here and now!!

Prayer:

My Lord and my God, please help me to amend my life and be ready  for the coming of Jesus Christ, Amen

Memory Verse:   1 Cor. 15: 58

"Therefore my beloved brethren be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
