Daily Fountain 2017 - Go Back And Submit

Monday May 22

Bible Reading:     Gen. 16: 7 - 16
Topic:         Go Back And Submit

God is not the Author of confusion. He recognizes order and equally expects His people to obey rules.

After she ran away from home, the Angel of the Lord told Hagar to go back and submit to her mistress Sarai.

Today many of us would have advised night vigils, dry fasting and violent prayers for Sarai's death so she could possess her possessions in Abram's family.

But God knows that Hagar was not justified in her conduct.

Be careful about how you pass judgment in matters over which you do not have the complete picture, especially when it concerns marriage, servant and master misunderstanding e.t.c.

After the instruction to submit, the Angel revealed God's plan for Hagar and the child she would bear.

There's always God's will in every situation and good success )Josh. 1: 9) would come as we find and follow it.

Please let us learn to submit to God's will in every situation so that peace can reign.

Humble yourself so that God will fulfill His plans for you. Don't destroy your future, marriage and other expectations because of worthless ego

Prayer:

Give me the grace oh Lord to hear and obey Your Word so that peace will reign in my life and in my family, Amen

Memory Verse:   Gen. 16: 9

"And the Angel of the Lord said unto her; Return to thy mistress and submit thyself under her hands"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
