Daily Fountain 2017 - Radical Faith

Friday May 12

Bible Reading:     Gen. 12: 1 - 9
Topic:         Radical Faith

God instructed Abram to leave his father's house, family and country to a land that He would show him.

God did not tell him the name of the town, direction or description of where he was to go, yet Abram and his family set out on that journey.

Today, most of us would ask for details including the map of the place, the feasibility study and other logistics for this movement but Abram took a step of faith and embarked on the journey.

This is faith matched with words.

When Abram got to the land of the Canaanites, God appeared to him again and promised to give that land to his descendants.

Faith brings blessings and promotions.

Abram's radical faith set him apart and opened him up to God's favour.

Many times we are faced with very difficult and seemingly impossible tasks, In such a situation, we need to apply radical faith as Abram did in order to see results.

From today let us not be moved by the enormity and complexity of the problems, tasks or challenges facing us, rather let us be moved to action by the Greatness, Faithfulness and Ability of the Lord Who has called us.

Prayer:

Heavenly King, please clothe me with faith to believe and corresponding work to show my faith, I pray through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen

Memory Verse:   Gen. 12: 3

"And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
