Daily Fountain 2017 - You Are Not Alone

Thursday May 18

Bible Reading:     Gen. 15: 1 - 6
Topic:         You Are Not Alone

The assurance God gave to Abram as we notice in today's passage was timely.

Abram may have feared possible revenge from the Kings he defeated to rescue Lot.

Just as Abram, God understands our fears and states of minds. He often speaks to reassure us of His presence in times of trouble. He does this through His Words and other life experiences.

God promised to be Abram's Shield and exceeding great reward. Likewise, God will not allow the enemies or challenges you may be facing to subdue you.

The realities of life often becloud our faith. Abram may have given up hope of having children - because of his and his wife's old age  - but before God nothing is impossible (Luke 1: 37)

Against all human wisdom and limitations, God still assured Abram that his own son would be his heir and besides, his descendants would be numerous.

God will change that bitter water in your life to sweet water (Ex. 15: 23 - 25); He will cause you to laugh and celebrate from that hopeless situation. Just trust and obey Him as Abram did in verse 6. Your miracle is on the way

Prayer:

Strengthen my trust in You Oh Lord and give me the grace to remain faithful till your time of visitation

Memory Verse:   Gen. 15: 6

"And he (Abram) believed the Lord and He counted to him for righteousness"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
